Hiking paths, a great observation tower, just a great outdoor experience for someone not really that into nature and stuff like that.

Enjoyable little refuge. Some good hiking. Definitely check out the stone tower at the summit - unique architecture and a fantastic vista. You can see all the way to Boston on a clear day.

I grew up right down the street from this place; it's a wonderous place for the kiddies. I had probably 3-4 birthday parties here. The facilities used to receive much more funding for maintenance and programs, but some people (you know who) have deemed park upkeep to be of lesser importance in our gov. spending. The ski center is a nice little place for those who don't want to drive far in the winter.

I came here early last summer I think, and on one of the walking paths I swear I saw thousands of the smallest frogs you've ever seen. AWESOME! Great place to walk around, very clean air. Good to get away from the city for a while.
